Today tens of thousands of Americans gather in our nation’s capital to stand for the sanctity of human life at the 2017 March for Life.
The March for Life comes at a critical time. In recent days, we have seen legislative efforts to protect the sanctity of human life.
We're encouraged by the pro-life promise and action of the Trump Administration which reinstated the Mexico City Policy which bans taxpayer funding for abortions overseas through foreign aid.
And we continue to work with the Trump Administration and members of Congress to defund Planned Parenthood – the nation's largest abortion provider that receives hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars each year.
We have a unique opportunity in this country right now to really make a difference in defending the unborn. On this special day, let us celebrate life and renew our efforts to stand and speak for those who cannot.
