MAKE A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION

It's become open season on the Pledge of Allegiance. Just days ago, NBC cut-out the phrase “under God” from a televised segment. Now, the City of Eugene, Oregon says the Pledge of Allegiance is too divisive to recite before each city council meeting. Instead, officials have put the Pledge on the shelf, limiting its voluntary recitation to only four times a year. One city council member said the Pledge "does not unite us." Another compared the Pledge to The Communist Manifesto.

The ACLJ continues to vigorously defend challenges to the Pledge of Allegiance and our nation's religious heritage.  Stand with the ACLJ and stand for the Pledge with your generous contribution today.  Thank you.

A Tax-Deductible gift today will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a group of ACLJ Members. Every $10 gift becomes $20 for the work of the ACLJ.
