It didn't take long. Just hours after Planned Parenthood endorsed President Obama and launched an attack ad campaign against GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, the White House stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Planned Parenthood and voiced its opposition to legislation in the House - legislation that would have banned sex-selection abortions in the United States. As we now know, this life-saving measure failed to clear the House today.

Planned Parenthood vigorously opposed the ban and as we have reported, an exposé by Live Action, revealed a Planned Parenthood worker caught on tape encouraging sex-selection abortion.

Then the White House weighed in. President Obama standing up for Planned Parenthood with the White House releasing a statement on his opposition to this life-saving measure: "The Administration opposes gender discrimination in all forms, but the end result of this legislation would be to subject doctors to criminal prosecution if they fail to determine the motivations behind a very personal and private decision. The government should not intrude in medical decisions or private family matters in this way."

Music to the ears of Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider.

Let's see. A political endorsement from Planned Parenthood. Then, a multi-million dollar attack ad campaign launched by Planned Parenthood against the president's opponent. All followed by a statement from the White House - President Obama backing Planned Parenthood's abhorrent position on permitting sex-selection abortions in the U.S. to remain legal.

A well-choreographed scenario. And, quite frankly, another disgusting political quid pro quo. The relationship between President Obama and Planned Parenthood could not be any clearer.

As Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), who sponsored the measure to end sex-selection abortions, put it, "There has never been a more pro-abortion leader in the White House in history of the United States."

President Obama really is the abortion president.
