Repeal ObamaCare
One of the first acts of the 112th Congress will be to vote to repeal ObamaCare in the U.S. House of Representatives.
As you know, it's our position that this disturbing health care law that was forced on the American people needs to go. We're supporting Congressional efforts to repeal and defund ObamaCare, a government-run, pro-abortion law.
At the same time, our legal challenges continue in federal court. But the fact is this Congressional vote in the House is on a fast track, with debate on the House floor taking place first and then a vote scheduled for Wednesday, January 12th.
The new House leadership has wasted no time in moving forward with this repeal. The language is now posted online and you can view the repeal bill here.
While the new make-up of the House includes a Republican majority, there are reports that even some Democrats may vote for repeal including Rep. Dan Boren (D-Oklahoma) who said: "I have not read the language yet, but I am inclined to support the repeal. I have voted against the measure in the last Congress and a full 68 percent of Oklahomans support repeal."
And, throughout the nation, there's solid support for repeal with the latest Rasmussen poll indicating 60% of Americans want ObamaCare repealed.
Whether it's through the legislative process in Congress, or through the federal court system (where one Judge already has declared a key provision of the law unconstitutional), we're dedicated to ensuring that ObamaCare is derailed.
Clearly, our nation's health care system needs revamped and reformed. But, ObamaCare is not the answer. Stand with us now and sign on to our petition during this critical time - urging members of the House to repeal this problematic health care law.
