A federal appeals court in Washington, DC, has rejected another challenge to ObamaCare -- and those on the losing end are debating whether to take their case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled on Tuesday it is constitutional for ObamaCare to require people to purchase insurance or pay a fine. The American Center for Law & Justice, which brought the challenge, believes the ruling underscores the argument that the nation's highest court will ultimately have to get involved.
"There is a conflict in the circuit courts of appeal across this country on whether the individual mandate is constitutional or not," says ACLJ attorney Edward White, "and that just shows us even more so that the United States Supreme Court needs to accept one of the various cases for review and to decide this issue promptly." . . .
