ObamaCare Repeal Vote Ahead in House
The stage is set for a historic vote on Wednesday in the U.S. House of Representatives - a vote to repeal ObamaCare - a pro-abortion health care law that most Americans oppose.
In the House today, an important procedural vote clearing the way for next week's legislative action. What will happen on Wednesday is significant. It reflects what happened on Election Day - when Americans sent a powerful message to Congress - that ObamaCare is not the prescription America needs for health care reform.
Earlier this week, we told you about the timing of this action - it's one of the first items on the agenda for the 112th Congress and comes as legal challenges to ObamaCare - including our own lawsuit - are moving forward.
This is a critical moment. In the past few days alone, thousands of you have made a decision to stand with us and urge the House to reject - to repeal ObamaCare.
Four Democrats who supported Republicans in the procedural vote Friday all opposed health care reform in March. They are Reps. Dan Boren of Oklahoma, Mike Ross of Arkansas, and Larry Kissell and Mike McIntyre of North Carolina.
Congressman Boren put it into perspective when he told a reporter: Sixty-eight percent of Oklahomans support the repeal of the health care bill. So Ive got to support my district and where my constituents are.
Your voice can make a difference. That's why in these final hours leading up to the repeal vote in the House, take a moment and add your name to our Petition to Repeal ObamaCare.
The time to stop ObamaCare is now.
