ObamaCare Faces Legislative & Legal Opposition
Americans understand that there must be health care reform. America needs health care reform. But, the truth is - most Americans don't want the pro-abortion, government-run ObamaCare that was forced on all of us.
There's a groundswell on Capitol Hill and the demand for change is very clear. When it convenes in January, the new Congress will have many challenges - the economy - creating jobs - and yes, repealing ObamaCare.
The fact is derailing ObamaCare won't be easy. As you know, there's been a dramatic political shift in the House and some change in the Senate. We understand that it is essential that we employ a two-prong strategy to undo ObamaCare.
First, we're engaging this issue in the federal courts. We've filed our own lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of ObamaCare in federal district court in Washington, D.C.
We've also filed an amicus brief supporting Virginia's legal challenge on behalf of 28 members of Congress and more than 70,000 Americans in support Virginia's challenge. A federal judge recently heard arguments in that case and a decision is expected by the end of the year. And we expect to file an amicus brief soon - again representing members of Congress - backing the massive lawsuit spearheaded by Florida.
Now, with the significant political changes in Washington, we're also demanding that the new Congress repeal this dangerous law. There's growing political pressure to take action and that's why we have launched a nationwide petition - to demand legislative action as well.
ObamaCare must be derailed. And, we remain dedicated to seeing that this flawed measure is replaced with affordable health care that meets the true needs of Americans.
Please, take a moment and if you haven't done so already add your name to our Petition to Repeal ObamaCare now.
