A federal appeals court has declared that the long-standing war memorial cross in San Diego is unconstitutional and violates the First Amendment. The ACLJ, which has spent years defending the memorial, filed an amicus brief representing 25 members of Congress in support of the memorial. The ACLJ called the decision a "judicial slap in the face" for military veterans.
