Just hours from now, we will file our amicus brief in support of the war memorial on Mt. Soledad in San Diego.  The ACLU sought to remove this war memorial because it contains a cross.  Its not too late for you to help!  Please dont let this last opportunity pass you by to sign on and be a part of a case of critical importance to our religious liberties and our national heritage.  If the ACLU wins this case, no cross will be safe.  No monument honoring our war heroes and fallen soldiers across the United States that bears a religious ornament will be spared.  This is your last chance to participate and let your voice be heard.  The stakes are high in this case.  If the ACLU wins this, they will be empowered to go on an even more aggressive rampage, removing any and all symbols of faith in our country.   Today we are filing our amicus brief to stop these advances and to send a strong message that we will not be intimidated by the power, prestige and size of the ACLU.

Our fighting men and women, especially those who have given their lives for freedoms sake, deserve to be remembered and honored.  The cross at Mt. Soledad must be preserved.  Please understand that while this case may be taking place far from where you may live, it has ramifications for you and for all of us who cherish the religious heritage of America.  This is the time to fight the ACLU.

In addition to representing hundreds of thousands of our members from around the country, the ACLJ is also representing 22 members of Congress, and is asking the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit to stay a federal court decision ordering the removal of the Mt. Soledad cross.  The 22 members of Congress include numerous military veterans and the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Duncan Hunter.  In addition to Hunter, the other members of the U.S. House of Representatives who have signed onto the brief are Todd Akin, Gresham Barrett, Eric Cantor, Michael Conaway, Barbara Cubin, John Culberson, Phil Gingery, Gil Gutknecht, Jack Kingston, John Kline, Kenny Marchant, Patrick McHenry, Mike McIntyre, Gary Miller, Marilyn Musgrave, Randy Neugebauer, Joseph Pitts, Jim Ryun, Todd Tiahrt, Dave Weldon and Lynn Westmoreland.  We have also had 200,000 signatures from American citizens who want to be part of this important effort.

Again, its not too late for you to participate.  Please do so now by clicking here.  We will keep you updated on this case as it progresses.
