Who’s the Enemy? Biden Withholding War-Ending Intel From Israel
Listen tothis article
President Biden wants Israel to avoid going into Rafah at all costs – so much so that his Administration offered to give Israel intelligence on Hamas leaders if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would call off the operation. Biden’s deliberate withholding of war intel just fully exposed his anti-Israel agenda.
The Washington Post broke the shocking news:
The Biden administration, working urgently to stave off a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, is offering Israel valuable assistance in an effort to persuade it to hold back, including sensitive intelligence to help the Israeli military pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders and find the group’s hidden tunnels, according to four people familiar with the U.S. offers.
So not only did the Biden Administration have intel on where certain Hamas leaders were hiding, but even more despicably, the Biden Administration used this information as a bribery tool against Israel.
We’ve watched Israel defend itself for seven months after Hamas’ attack, and the war could have ended much sooner if the Biden Administration had rightfully shared the location of Hamas leaders in Gaza. Don’t forget that Biden also just halted a weapon shipment to Israel over its upcoming invasion of Rafah.
After these two recent actions by President Biden, we can now ignore his recent speech condemning antisemitism. The White House is actively undermining America’s greatest ally. And how long has it had this valuable intel that could have ended Israel’s war against Hamas?
ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell reacted to the Biden Administration’s withholding of intel:
It makes me very angry to see how, once again, the Democrats are playing politics with intelligence. We can’t do that – we’ve got to remove the politics from intelligence. But here’s a situation where they literally are holding back information, possibly crucial information. I’ve spoken to several intel officials who are currently employed in the federal government intelligence system. I spoke to them this morning, and one individual says that it’s so bad that everybody is talking about it and complaining that it ruins the credibility of the intelligence agencies when we’re trying to hold back intelligence or manipulate it in some way.
Though the Biden Administration has abandoned Israel, the ACLJ has not. We sent demand letters to 43 countries as well as letters to the Executive branch and Members of Congress, insisting they support Israel and enact sanctions on Iran. We also sent letters to the DOJ and the Department of Education demanding that they stop the violent protests that have overrun college campuses.
I also want to tell you about a recent victory for religious liberty. The ACLJ just took action on behalf of two nine-year-old students after their teacher unconstitutionally banned them from sharing Easter eggs with their classmates. Why? Because the eggs contained Bible verses.
We made that clear to the school that we were ready to go to court. At first, the schools made ridiculous excuses. For example, it claimed to be worried about allergies. The last time I checked, no one is allergic to Bible verses. Clearly, the reason the students were banned from passing out the Easter eggs was because of God’s Word being distributed.
We repeatedly explained to the school that the law clearly protects students’ rights to share their faith. Eventually, the school relented and agreed (in a letter of assurances that will legally bind them) that our clients “are free to distribute religious messages in a non-disruptive manner during non-instructional time.”
We are thankful that this matter could be resolved before we filed a lawsuit. Regardless of whether a case can be resolved quickly or requires a lawsuit, the ACLJ will work – free of charge for our clients – for those whose religious liberty has been infringed upon.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of Biden’s withholding possible war-ending intel from Israel. We also discussed legal developments in an ACLJ case to defend pro-life advocates at the U.S. Supreme Court. Fighting for Five’s John Ondrasik also joined the broadcast.
