Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) doubled down on her recent “river to the sea” antisemitic rant to eradicate Israel. Many in the GOP have attempted to censure Tlaib, and even prominent leaders in her own party were quick to condemn her dangerous rhetoric.

Fox News reports:

Multiple members of the Democratic Party are calling out Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., after she attempted to justify the pro-Palestinian chant, “From the river to the sea,” calling it an “aspirational call for freedom, human rights and peaceful coexistence.”

Tlaib posted her interpretation of the chant to the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on Nov. 3.

“From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate,” the post read. “My work and advocacy is always centered in justice and dignity for all people no matter faith or ethnicity.”

In response, a group on X called StopAntisemitism told Tlaib what the phrase actually means, saying it refers to “the full erasure of the Jewish state, from Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.”

The group also told the congresswoman the chant is Hamas’ battle cry, adding, “You echo terrorists.”

The infamous “river to the sea” battle cry has been used since the early 1960s to promote the extermination of the Jews. Nothing from the antisemitic rally cry calls for freedom – the only call for action is for Hamas and Hezbollah to destroy Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. A look at the map of Israel makes this interpretation undeniable.

Even Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT) understands the danger of adopting pro-Hamas rhetoric. He spoke out yesterday about why Israel can’t engage in a ceasefire with Hamas: “I don’t know how you can have a ceasefire, (a) permanent ceasefire, with an organization like Hamas, which is dedicated to turmoil and chaos and destroying the state of Israel.” I never thought I’d agree with Sanders on anything, but he’s 100 percent correct here.

Sen. Sanders has been an outspoken critic of Israel in the past. So why are he and others within the Democratic caucus starting to shift their sympathies toward Israel? I think a lot of them saw the footage of the atrocities that took place at the hands of Hamas terrorists and now recognize that this evil must be defeated.

Tlaib even went after President Biden, accusing him of supporting the genocide of children in Gaza: “Your silence is deafening. Your complicity is even worse. . . . A whole generation of children is being wiped out in front of us.” Of course, Tlaib doesn’t seem to care that Hamas brutally murdered innocent babies in Israel – she’s yet to condemn Hamas in any way.

By proclaiming “from the river to the sea,” Tlaib is celebrating the most brutal attack against Jews that the world has seen since the days of Nazi Germany. When I see the pro-Hamas college campus demonstrations and hear radicals like Tlaib, I feel like I’m witnessing a Nuremberg rally.

Do these college kids not realize what they are aligning with? Tlaib for sure does, but do these young people realize they are supporting the beheading of Israeli women and children?

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell joined the show to condemn President Obama’s reprehensible comments that “Nobody’s hands are clean . . . . All of us are complicit” in Israel’s conflict. Grenell said:

First of all, my hands are clean. I don’t take any responsibility here, and most Americans don’t. But you know, whose hands are not clean? Barack Obama. He is somebody who decided to bring Iran into the fold of nations. And he believed that somehow – in his all-great personality – that he could convince the radical regime in Iran to join the rest of the world. He believed that he could cut a deal. It was Barack Obama who put us on this path of trying to normalize relations with Iran. It didn’t work – it got worse. They funded more terrorism; they funded more of their nuclear [arms] program. They have more centrifuges. They have more heavy water. They have more secrets with the U.N. This is a guy who has more to do with the problem than anyone else.
