A group of Palestinian lawyers have threatened to file federal lawsuits because of the peace plan.

On today’s Jay Sekulow Live we discussed the threat made by Palestinian lawyers against supporters of President Trump’s Middle East peace plan as well as touched on the state of the Democrat race for the presidency.

While all this other stuff was going on over the last few weeks, the President unveiled an Israel-Palestinian peace plan. The plan got some Arab world support, which is important, but there’s already now a threat because of the peace plan by a group of Palestinian lawyers. These lawyers have gotten together and have said that they will file lawsuits against any person that supports the plan or engages in business in the territories.

ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow made the following point:

So we’re seeing between U.S. lawsuits and European lawsuits that anyone, any politicians, individual businessmen, are being threatened by these Palestinian lawyers. What we have seen in the past is that they will make good on at least filing the lawsuit and tying people up in court.

They’ve done that. At the ACLJ, we’ve got a case that we’re handling right now in the district court.

ACLJ Director of Policy Harry Hutchison gave his assessment of the President’s peace plan:

This plan is a realistic approach to improve the lives of the Palestinian people and bring peace to the Middle East. Equally clear, if you look at the litigation filed by the Palestinians, the Palestinian Authority opposes any plan that actually improves the lives of the Palestinian people. They are committed to one goal and one goal only, apparently, and that is an attempt to destroy the legitimacy of the State of Israel even if it hurts the Palestinian people.

We at the ACLJ, as we have been, are prepared to litigate these cases, if this group of Palestinian lawyers bring cases. The ACLJ will meet that challenge.

We also discussed tomorrow’s New Hampshire primary and the state of the race for the Democrat nomination for President.

Jordan Sekulow assessed the situation:

The two people that came out of Iowa well was the surprise, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and the no surprise, Senator Bernie Sanders. As Vice-President Joe Biden put it, Iowa was a gut punch for him and now he said he’s going to take another hit in New Hampshire.

The latest two polls out in New Hampshire came out in just the last two days since the debate. Senator Sanders was still in first place and has at least a three or four point lead. That’s a pretty good lead. However, that’s not something that couldn’t be overtaken by Mayor Pete. It doesn’t look like there’s anybody else in the top two. It’s Senator Sanders and then Mayor Pete. What’s interesting is that third place right now is not Senator Warren, its Senator Klobuchar.

The ICC Does It Again, and It’s Not Pretty

By Skip Ash1613746440000

As we’ve pointed out before concerning the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its chief Prosecutor, both are highly susceptible to politics—often at the expense of “law” and the “rule of law” internationally. That happened again on Friday, February 5, 2021, when judges of Pre-Trial Chamber I of...
