Evil struck again in Israel early this morning, as two Hamas terrorists opened fire at a Jerusalem bus station, killing three Israelis and injuring 11 others. An ensuing firefight with the IDF left the two gunmen dead.

Fox News reports on the shooting spree by Hamas terrorists:

According to Israeli police, the shooting was carried out by two Hamas terrorists who drove to the Givat Shaul junction on the outskirts of the Holy City in an armed vehicle and opened fire on unsuspecting victims standing there. Police responded to the bus stop at around 7:40 a.m. local time.

The three deceased victims of the shooting attack in Jerusalem were identified as 73-year-old Rabbi Elimelech Wasserman, 67-year-old Hana Ifergan, and 24-year-old Livia Dickman.

This senseless Hamas attack came on the heels of a one-day extension in Israel’s cease-fire to rescue more hostages. The extension wasn’t a sure thing because Hamas is reportedly running out of hostages to set free.

We’ve unfortunately already received confirmation that several hostages have been murdered after being taken, and we expect more similar reports in the near future. But we will continue our diligent efforts to save as many hostages as possible.

Hamas clearly orchestrated this murder at the bus station. They attacked a more sparsely populated section of Jerusalem in an easily identifiable Jewish community. But that’s how Hamas operates. They get the truce done, but then Hamas affiliates still go ahead and carry out another attack inside the borders of Israel.

Our defense of Israel and work to rescue the remaining hostages is undeterred. Today, we are sending a massive legal demand letter to the U.N. Security Council, demanding action to support Israel. We are also planning a trip to Europe next month to advocate for Israel.

Senator Marsha Blackburn (TN) joined the broadcast, and I asked her about the status of a recent bill the House passed to send aid to Israel.

The House passed [a bill] and sent [it] to us. . . . [Senators] Lee, Cruz, me, Marshall – we were all on the floor before Thanksgiving trying to get unanimous consent to move forward with that bill. And we’re still trying to move forward with that bill because what we need to do is go ahead and get in the pipeline what Israel needs to defend themselves and to defeat Hamas. We need to rid the earth of Hamas.

I hope the Senate passes this much-needed bill soon. Senator Blackburn also reiterated that the U.S. needs to freeze the $10 billion payment that the Biden Administration is considering sending to Iran. We can’t keep giving Iran money that will be used to fund terrorist attacks against the U.S. and Israel.

As you know, the ACLJ has been successfully litigating against the radical Left’s attempts to unconstitutionally remove President Trump from primary ballots across the country. We recently won in Colorado, and now we are filing a new lawsuit in Wyoming on behalf of the state’s GOP.

We fully expect to be victorious in Wyoming, just as we have been in numerous states. We will not allow the far Left to deny you the right to vote for the candidate of your choice.

Today is the DEADLINE for our Faith & Freedom Drive. We can’t fund our defense of Israel or fight to preserve election integrity without your support. Donate today, and your gift will be doubled instantly.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast reacted to the latest terror attack in Israel and provided updates on other ongoing ACLJ lawsuits to defend faith and freedom. Most notably, we were in court today defending a Jewish professor in Maryland who was fired for her beliefs, and we won a critical ruling as that case moves forward.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon also joined the show to offer their expert analysis.
