Deep State Employing Israel’s Enemies

We’ve uncovered multiple hirings by the Deep State of Israel’s enemies.

Nejwa Ali was an asylum official with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) until she was placed on leave after it came to light that she had worked as a spokeswoman for the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), according to a report by the New York Post. When contacted by the Daily Wire, she insisted that she still worked for DHS. If that’s not bad enough, her social media posts about Israel are too obscene to share.

In September 2023, Ariane Tabatabai, the chief of staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict, was accused of being an alleged member of the Iran Experts Initiative. She had previously served as a diplomat on the Iran nuclear negotiating team for the Biden administration. The Department of Defense (DOD) investigated. After an internal review, the DOD decided to let Ms. Tabatabai keep her security clearance. The “review” does not answer the question of why Ms. Tabatabai retained access to information in the Office of Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict –a position that by definition must, at least, know of operations against Hamas and other terrorist organizations- or was appointed to that position at all.

Fritz Berggren, a Foreign Service officer in the U.S. State Department wrote an incendiary blog full of antisemitic statements. Despite these statements and other prior blog posts, Fritz Berggren remains employed at the State Department.

We’ve filed FOIA requests to find out why each of these individuals was hired and whether or not their antisemitic ties were previously disclosed.
