WND - Jailed Christian Ordered Back to Court Erroneous Media Reports About Bail for Pastor

Media reports about bail for American Pastor Saeed Abedini, in jail in Iran for months after he returned to his home country to work on an adoption project, are erroneous and he remains in custody, likely to be in court again tomorrow, according to a source.
American Center for Law and Justice spokesman Gene Kapp says that the pastor will likely stand trial on charges that he is attempting to undermine the Iranian government. The only course of action for Americans is political pressure.
“The people need to continue to press the White House and the State Department for action,” Kapp said.
In an interview with WND, ACLJ President Jordan Sekulow said that’s the only open door.
“Clearly, the most meaningful and important engagement must come from the State Department – Secretary of State Clinton – and President Obama. And so far, they have failed to condemn Iran and demand Pastor Saeed’s immediate and unconditional release,” Sekulow said. . . .
