One News Now - Msg from Iran: Tortured pastor urges faithfulness

An American Christian pastor, incarcerated and tortured in Iran, says in a letter he will never give in to demands from his captors to renounce his faith in Jesus Christ.
Pressure is growing for the release of Saeed Abedini, a convert to Christianity from Islam, has been jailed in Iran and faced increasing torture since December. Abedini headed a highly successful house church movement while in Iran, immigrated to the United States with his wife and two children, and was jailed after returning to Iran to visit family.
Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law & Justice tells American Family News he has received a letter from Abedini that he describes as "very troubling."
“He talks about the physical abuse, the psychological torture, the spiritual warfare and – in addition to all of the pain; he talks about the inability really to even stand, to walk without being shaky – he talks about now this new push to have him deny his faith in Christ,” Sekulow explains. . . .
