Congress United for Pastor Saeed
As you know, the ACLJ’s advocacy for Pastor Saeed has spanned the globe and includes partnerships with numerous foreign governments. However, the most encouraging government show of support for Pastor Saeed may just come from the United States Congress. On numerous occasions, and in bipartisan fashion, members of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives have taken Pastor Saeed’s case to President Obama, to their colleagues, to foreign leaders, and to people around the world.
All of us at the ACLJ want to thank each and every Senator and Congressman who has engaged this effort. Below, you will find a list of specific congressional actions that have been taken for Pastor Saeed over the last year. Because of the abundance of action taken, it is a certainty that we have inadvertently omitted a few items, and we will continue to update this page as new actions are taken.
But one thing is clear. Like you, the U.S. Congress is committed to fighting for Pastor Saeed until he comes home.
