We've Exposed a Massive Biden Cover-Up

The ACLJ has successfully exposed yet another cover-up by the Biden Administration. We have email records showing the Deep State cares more about promoting a false narrative of a secure southern border rather than informing the American people of potential threats to national security.

Almost two years ago, two Yemeni terrorists on the FBI’s Terrorist Watchlist were captured at the southern border, and the local Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency detailed the arrest in a press release. But that’s not the end of the story. According to Fox News:

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has deleted a press release detailing the arrest of two Yemeni illegal immigrants who were identified on a terror watch list -- leading to Republicans accusing the Biden administration of a lack of transparency.

Upon hearing the shocking news that the CBP had deleted the press release, we sought answers. We subsequently filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request demanding records related to the incident.

Fast forward two years, and we now have evidence the FBI and CBP leadership in Washington, D.C., were “pretty upset” with the San Diego CBP for the initial press release. We also now know the federal agency removed the press release only 24 hours later.

Keep in mind that the FBI wasn’t upset that the southern border remains a porous war zone where illegals are crossing in record numbers as well as domestic terrorists who wish to do widespread harm. Compound this with the smuggling of fentanyl across the southern border that has created a national drug crisis, and you have a dire situation that should be upsetting to national agencies in charge of protecting American citizens.

But is that what they were “pretty upset” about? Not at all. Rather, they were angry with CBP officials in San Diego who had told the truth about what was happening at the southern border. Shouldn’t these officials have been applauded for capturing known terrorists?

Another incriminating quote from the email records reveals that “The horse is out of the barn.” In other words, the higher-ups at the CBP knew it was too late to keep the news of the captured terrorists under wraps. Somebody had already squeezed the toothpaste out of the tube.

ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell joined our broadcast and offered these thoughts:

We have a problem in the U.S. government where when you don’t want something out in the public, if you are a U.S. agency, you pretend like this is classified information. You classify it and say, “This is top secret, secret, or this is sensitive information.” And therefore, it can’t be released to the public. And that’s the game that they play when they don’t want to embarrass their agencies – they take the information and pretend like it’s sensitive, secret information. But let’s be clear: When two people on the Terrorist Watchlist are coming across the border, and you have to use resources to grab them because they freely came across the border, that’s not sensitive information. That’s crucial information for the American public.

Trying to keep this important information regarding national security from the American people is shameful. Instead of protecting a false narrative, the FBI and CBP should be honest about the dangers of the southern border and take whatever measures are necessary to keep our country safe. We’re in the middle of a litigation war with the Biden Administration. We’re going back to court, and we’re turning over these key documents to Congress, calling for a full investigation.
