ABSURD: Biden White House Says It’s “Cleaning Up” Trump’s Mess

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre just said the Biden Administration is “cleaning up” former President Trump’s mess by building more sections of the border wall. The very same wall she still claims is “ineffective.”

During a White House press conference on Friday, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked President Biden’s official spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre why the President was continuing construction on the border wall, and she seemed to struggle with her own answer:

Doocy: Why is the Biden Administration building a border wall in Arizona?

Jean-Pierre: So, um, we are not, uh, we are not finishing the wall. Uh, we are cleaning up the mess the prior administration, uh, left behind in their failed attempt, uh, to build a wall.

It’s almost as though she couldn’t believe the words she was saying herself. But it’s understandable that even Jean-Pierre would be confused. After all, her boss seems to be confused too, because while he was campaigning, President Biden said “not another foot” of wall would be built under his Administration.

Mr. Doocy brought up President Biden’s words to Jean-Pierre as well, and it somehow led to even more confusion for Ms. Jean-Pierre:

Doocy: But President Biden when he was a candidate said there will not be another foot of wall constructed in my Administration. So what changed?

Jean-Pierre: We are not finishing the wall. 

Doocy: If walls work in that part of Arizona, is this the Administration trying to get migrants to cross somewhere else, like in Texas? What is the plan?

Jean-Pierre: We are not finishing a wall. We are cleaning up the mess that the prior Administration made. We are trying to save lives. This is what the prior Administration left behind that we are now cleaning up.

Doocy: By finishing the wall, is this . . .

Jean-Pierre: We are not finishing the wall.

Doocy: By filling in, finishing . . .

Jean-Pierre: We are not finishing the wall.

Doocy: By filling in, uh, is this racist? Because in 2019 when the former guy was proposing a wall, you said that it was his racist wall, so how is this any different? I’m just having a hard time seeing how this is any different.

Jean-Pierre: I’m not even sure how you get to your first question to this question you just asked me, I will say this, a border wall . . . is ineffective use of taxpayer dollars. So it’s ineffective.

So White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre can’t see how a journalist arrived at a question based on her exact words. That’s weird.

The truth is she knows exactly where his question came from – her own words coming back to haunt her.  The Left, particularly in the last few years, has taken to speaking in this almost mystical language that apparently makes no sense to us mere mortals. They say they’re not doing something but they’re doing it.

And they all seem to think if they talk down to Americans like children, we’ll just accept their absurd double-speak as somehow right. President Biden’s first spokesperson, Jen Psaki, did the same thing. It seems to be the language of the Biden Administration. It would be comical if it were a Saturday Night Live sketch. But these are the leaders of our country, and that makes it terrifying.

This is why we keep saying elections have consequences. Remember this bizarre explanation of why President Biden is doing exactly what he attacked President Trump for, and yet is saying “nope, that’s not what we’re doing at all” come November’s midterm. Karine Jean-Pierre not only just gaslighted Peter Doocy for simply asking a reasonable question based on evidence, she gaslighted you, me, the entire country. And she’ll get away with it. And so will President Biden, Vice President Harris, Speaker Pelosi, and the entire radical Left. Words don’t mean anything to them. If they say the wrong thing, they’ll just change the definition rather than admit they were wrong, and it’s YOUR FAULT for not understanding.
