News Coverage of ACLJ's Argument Urging NY Court to Islamic Mosque Out of Ground Zero
The American Center for Law and Justice argued before the New York State Supreme Court that a site at Ground Zero is not suitable to build an Islamic mosque. The ACLJ, which represents 9/11 responder and firefighter Tim Brown, told the court the City acted improperly when it failed to landmark the building - a move that would have prevented an Islamic mosque from locating there.
Our news release on the hearing is posted here. The judge said a decision on the hearing could come within the next four weeks.
