“Treasonous”: Intel Leaker Under Investigation
Listen tothis article
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon are investigating the intel leak that claims President Donald Trump’s ordered airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities didn’t do long-term damage. Could such leaks compromise the Israel-Iran ceasefire or U.S. security?
While the Trump Administration is touting the success of last Saturday’s airstrikes, media outlets like The New York Times and CNN are peddling that Operation Midnight Hammer wasn’t that successful. They are getting their reports from leaked intelligence documents.
Why are we still dealing with leaked documents? I’m so glad we now have officials in the Pentagon who refuse to put up with such Deep State leaks. The new Administration has labeled such leaks as “treasonous” and is determined to identify the source.
The leaked “analysis” suggests that Tehran has only been delayed a few months in creating a new nuclear weapon – yet the analysis has yet to be verified. The reported analysis is also a “low-confidence” assessment, signaling limited trust in the report.
To be clear, such a leak primarily benefits the murderous Iranian regime – an ongoing threat to the United States.
So we have confirmation that the Deep State isn’t just alive and well but also playing politics with war and our military. To break this story, the Deep State turned to its favorite journalist, CNN’s Natasha Bertrand. Yes, the same Bertrand who was a major contributor to spreading the Russia hoax.
With the Deep State still at work, we should all be very grateful that the military was able to pull off Operation Midnight Hammer without any leaks. Our B-2s traveled from Missouri to Iran and dropped the bunker-buster bombs without the world realizing what was happening.
Going forward, the Trump Administration must determine how to prevent these dangerous leaks. Nothing good comes from them, and they endanger our national security and allies.
In ACLJ-related news, we are sending our attorneys as “boots on the ground” in Missouri, where Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has enlisted us to join forces in fighting against Planned Parenthood. The abortion giant is actively attacking pro-life legislation in Missouri, and we can’t allow it to win.
Recently, a Missouri judge issued a troubling order in the case Comprehensive Health v. Missouri that would have allowed Planned Parenthood to resume abortions at its Missouri facilities. That dangerous ruling did not go unchallenged. AG Bailey immediately filed an appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court, seeking to protect the state’s constitutional authority to defend the unborn.
In response, the Missouri Supreme Court blocked the trial court’s order – once again allowing the state to save unborn lives and prevent abortions. The Missouri Supreme Court found that the judge used an improper legal standard in ruling that abortions could resume. The Missouri Supreme Court’s ruling corrects that bad decision and prevents abortions from resuming in Missouri as the case continues.
Planned Parenthood now claims that the new Missouri constitutional amendment that passed in 2024 gives them the right to let non-doctors perform abortions, prescribe abortion pills through telehealth only, operate clinics without basic health standards, and avoid telling women about alternatives to abortion. Such an argument is false and must be defeated.
The ACLJ is proud to stand with AG Bailey in this legal battle. Our lawyers are in Missouri defending this pro-life abortion ban. We know firsthand how powerful the abortion lobby can be – and how relentless its efforts are to strip away the rights of the unborn.
Join us as we support Missouri’s stand for life. Sign our brand-new petition to defeat Planned Parenthood in court. Also, please donate to fund our legal fight – your gift will help save lives.
