Breaking News: Reports indicate former FBI Director James Comey planted spies inside the White House.

On today’s show we discussed the revelation that James Comey began and led what is being called a “covert operation against” the President of the United states by planting FBI operatives inside the White House to report back to Comey.

The chickens are coming home to roost here, and I think James Comey is in serious trouble.

According the report from Real Clear Investigations:

Two U.S. officials briefed on the inspector general’s investigation of possible FBI misconduct said Comey was essentially “running a covert operation against” the president, starting with a private “defensive briefing” he gave Trump just weeks before his inauguration. They said Horowitz has examined high-level FBI text messages and other communications indicating Comey was actually conducting a “counterintelligence assessment” of Trump during that January 2017 meeting in New York.

James Comey is the same man who told the President 3 separate times he was not under investigation, and there had been no spying on the President. Comey has of course claimed he doesn’t consider surveillance to be the same as spying.

What would Comey consider having a covert operative inside the White House whose clandestine purpose is to report back to your office? An agent the White House could not even remove.

The  report continues:

At the same time Comey was personally scrutinizing the president during meetings in the White House and phone conversations from the FBI, he had an agent inside the White House working on the Russia investigation, where he reported back to FBI headquarters about Trump and his aides, according to officials familiar with the matter.

The agent, Anthony Ferrante, who specialized in cyber crime, left the White House around the same time Comey was fired and soon joined a security consulting firm, where he contracted with BuzzFeed to lead the news site's efforts to verify the Steele dossier, in connection with a defamation lawsuit.

Knowledgeable sources inside the Trump White House say Comey carved out an extraordinary new position for Ferrante, which allowed him to remain on reserve status at the FBI while working in the White House as a cybersecurity adviser.

“In an unprecedented action, Comey created a new FBI reserve position for Ferrante, enabling him to have an ongoing relationship with the agency, retaining his clearances and enabling him to come back in [to bureau headquarters],” said a former National Security Council official who requested anonymity.

“Between the election and April 2017, when Ferrante finally left the White House, the Trump NSC division supervisor was not allowed to get rid of Ferrante,” he added, "and Ferrante continued working — in direct conflict with the no-contact policy between the White House and the Department of Justice.”

Regardless of Comey’s game of semantics, there is no question this is spying. Comey was spying on President Trump, calling into question his testimony under oath before Congress that he was not spying on the President.

Based on the reports, Comey spent hours Googling the President, and watching clips of him on YouTube. This is a man with an obsession and he was leading an investigation of our President.

Comey plays the highest moral ground there is, yet leaked his notes from conversations with the President to a friend so he could give them to the media in order to obtain a Special Counsel. Comey told the Senate he doesn’t want to be like J. Edgar Hoover. No, we think Comey is actually worse.

This is an unprecedented abuse of power. There needs to be consequences.

We are not just reporting about this unscrupulous corrupt behavior. We’re taking action. Right now we are preparing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to flush out the truth about just what Comey’s agents were reporting back to the agency.

This is the beginning. It’s all coming out and the American people should be outraged. But the disinfectant is here. The light is coming, and it’s not going to be pretty for certain people.
