FBI’s Corrupt Comey Is Now SUDDENLY Concerned About DOJ Weaponization

Former FBI Director James Comey manipulated and weaponized his agency to conduct a witch hunt against Donald Trump. Now Comey is suddenly worried about the weaponization of the DOJ.

Former FBI Director James Comey this week declared former President Donald Trump to be a “threat” to the rule of law, a few weeks after Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation concluded that Comey’s FBI failed to uphold its “mission of strict fidelity to the law.”

“He represents a serious threat to the rule of law in this country,” Comey said Tuesday on MSNBC about Trump when asked if he’s worried about another Trump presidency. “And anyone with eyes to see can see that.”

The Durham report found that both the FBI and the Department of Justice failed in their mission to uphold the law by launching the investigation into allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Durham found there was no sufficient evidence to begin that probe, even as many Democrats said publicly they had seen evidence of collusion.

So what Comey’s really concerned about is that the Constitution gives the President legitimate powers to go after bad actors within the federal government who are trying to subvert the will of the American people. 

Comey told former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki that President Biden must be reelected to avoid “four years of a retribution presidency.” In other words, if Trump wins, he will use the FBI and other federal agencies to get revenge on his political enemies.

Our own ACLJ Senior Counsel Andy Ekonomou summed up Comey’s hypocrisy, stating:

That’s absolutely correct. We have what’s called a unitary Executive in the United States. The President is the Executive branch of government, and everybody operates under the Executive. But when you talk about a rogue President, this is the last person who should be talking about a rogue, because he is the epitome and the poster child for a rogue. A man who, during the chaos of the Administration, sends in two FBI agents to snoop around and find out what’s going on. And very proud about doing it. Who sends false warrants to the FISA courts containing false information. Who is behind every weaponization of the Justice Department, the FBI – of which he was the Director and of which President Trump terminated him. And now he’s saying that he is scared that there’s going to be a rogue President of the United States, and he’s going to be after him. If there is a President, and he’s reelected, and its President Trump, guess what? He ought to be after Jim Comey.

It’s no wonder Comey’s telling the country that it “must” vote to reelect Joe Biden. Because Biden will turn the other way and not order an investigation into Comey’s flagrant abuses of the FBI to take down the same President he was supposed to be serving.

Again, elections have consequences. Thanks to the 2020 election, James Comey has faced zero accountability for his misdeeds and the chaos he caused in our country, not to mention the tax dollars and resources he wasted in his political gameplay. In fact, he got a book deal and an HBO movie out of it. Life seems pretty good for Jim Comey. Makes you wonder why he crawled back out into the media lights. Could he be worried about 2024? Maybe he should be.
