It’s hard to say with a straight face, but China just released a statement demanding that the United States “stop defaming” them with stories about the origin of COVID-19, which, now according to multiple government reports,  was most likely the Wuhan Lab, as we all suspected for the last three years.

As reported:

On Monday, China accused the U.S. of politicizing the Covid-19 pandemic, dismissing the Energy Department’s conclusion that the coronavirus likely arose from an unintended laboratory leak.

The Energy Department has concluded based on new intelligence that the pandemic began in a Chinese lab, according to a memo recently provided to the White House and members of Congress, and obtained by the Wall Street Journal. The agency now joins the FBI in preferring the lab-leak theory to the natural-transmission theory.

“Covid tracing is a scientific issue that should not be politicized,” Mao Ning, a Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman, said in response to the finding, according to the New York Times. Ning also called on the U.S. to “stop defaming China” by raising the lab-leak theory.

So the U.S. Department of Energy and the FBI concluding in official reports that the COVID-19 pandemic more than likely originated in a Chinese lab, not spontaneously in a wet market as the Communist Chinese government claimed three years ago, is somehow defaming China?

China has not only accused us of sullying its supposedly good reputation, despite its numerous brutal human rights abuses and being caught red-handed flying a spy balloon over the United States, but they’ve also absurdly accused the U.S. of manufacturing the virus ourselves.

China claims to have ruled out the possibility of a laboratory leak. It has also sought to deflect blame by spreading a conspiracy theory that COVID may have been the result of research at a U.S. military lab in Fort Detrick, Md., the latest instance of which came earlier this month.

So according to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), we created COVID-19 in Maryland, then somehow managed to transport it all the way to Wuhan, probably in one of those metal suitcases handcuffed to a secret agent’s wrist, and we then strategically chose to release it in a wet market, where we selected the most delicious-looking bat we could find, and here we are three years later, mission accomplished. Sure. Sounds much more likely than a laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology – as in viruses – created the coronavirus and somehow released it, whether by accident or otherwise.

There’s nothing funny about the COVID-19 pandemic – and the countless lives lost – that has affected just about everyone around the world now. I lost a family member to COVID as well. And for China to continue to obfuscate the truth and claim its innocence when all signs clearly point to the contrary is a slap in the face of families around the globe who’ve lost a loved one to COVID.

Which is also why it shouldn’t just be the United States calling out China. The world needs to demand transparency from the CCP. But how can we possibly expect other world leaders to have the courage to hold the Chinese government accountable when President Joe Biden continues to cower in the shadow of Chinese President Xi Jinping? The Biden Administration continues to demonstrate weakness and vulnerability, and China continues to capitalize on it, making the U.S. look foolish. When is it going to stop?

Today’s full Sekulow broadcast includes further analysis of China’s claim that the U.S. is defaming them, making China the COVID-19 scapegoat, even as it appears to be true, and President Biden’s continued show of weakness before the Communist empire. We’re also joined by Senator Marsha Blackburn (TN).
