Defending Trump's Constitutional Executive Orders
New York, et al. v. Trump, et al; Alliance for Retired Americans v. Scott Bessent, et al; National Council of Nonprofits, et al v. Office of Management and Budget, et al
STATUS:
Amicus Brief Filed
The ACLJ is fighting judicial overreach that undermines the President’s constitutional authority. We're filing amicus briefs defending executive power, including challenges to funding pauses and Treasury oversight as it relates to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to rein in spending. Courts cannot interfere with the President’s duty to enforce laws like the Hyde Amendment. These lawsuits attempt to weaponize the judiciary, but we are committed to protecting constitutional governance.
