Digital Journal - Atheists sue over installation of 9/11 cross at WTC Museum

The American Atheists have filed a complaint in court in an effort to block the installation of the 9/11 cross, found at Ground Zero a few days after the terrorist attacks that brought the World Trade Center to the ground. . .

But others disagree and say they World Trade Center Cross is a symbol of remembrance and honor of those killed in the 9/11 tragedy and is part of a display that will include historical artifacts and other physical reminders found in the debris to help tell the story of 9/11 and its aftermath.

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) said "they plans to file a friend-of-the-court brief backing the legality of the Ground Zero cross on behalf of a former 9/11 firefighter and first responder." . . .
