URGENT DEADLINE:
$875,000 Liberty Not Tyranny Matching Challenge
Midnight, December 31, 2008
We face enormous challenges ahead. Many battles for life and liberty will begin in the White House ... and move directly to the newly-strengthened liberal Congress. On top of critical issues already brewing on Capitol Hill, our caseload is heating up:
- Were working hard on an amicus brief due just days from now in the case of Freedom from Religion Foundation v. Bush, an attack on the constitutionality of the National Day of Prayer and all public expressions of faith.
- Were also involved in the Proposition 8 case, Strauss v. Horton, in which the California Supreme Court may override a clear majority vote of the people and force the redefinition of marriage. Our amicus brief is due January 15.
Your personal participation is key! Only a short time remains for your contribution to be matched up to $875,000 through our Liberty Not Tyranny Matching Challenge, helping the ACLJ finish 2008 in strength and move forward into the vitally important work of 2009 as quickly and effectively as possible. Thank you for your solid support.
