Terri's Case Goes to Federal Appeals Court
The decision by the federal court in Tampa not to restore Terri Schiavo's feeding tube triggers an appeal by the attorneys who are representing Terri's parents. An appeal is being made to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. This is a race against time. Terri has now been without food and hydration for four days. She is being starved to death. I expect this case to move rapidly and it could be before the U.S. Supreme Court either later today or tomorrow morning. I am en route to Washington now where this case could end up in a matter of hours. I will have more information about the legal appeal on my radio show today.
I want you to know that we are filing an amicus brief in support of Terri Schiavo and Terri's Law this morning with the federal appeals court in Atlanta. We represent Congressman Weldon, one of the chief sponsors of the legislation. While we are representing members of Congress in these proceedings, we also want to represent you.
Stand with us and stand with Terri Schiavo. Join our Committee to Defend the Constitutionality of Terri's Law. Add your name right now online at our website. Thanks to the thousands who have already joined the committee.
