In Article III of the U.S. Constitution, Congress is authorized to act concerning the most cherished symbols of our culture and over the free expression of our faith in the public arena.  The Pledge Protection Act, designed to protect the Pledge of Allegiance from legal assault, is scheduled to be reintroduced into this session of Congress by Representative Todd Akin (R-MO).  This measure serves as a good example in what must be done in limiting the jurisdiction of the federal courts.
