to the
Health Care Takeover: Round 1

Your right to control your own health care is on the line today. So the ACLJ is taking legal action against the massive federal health care takeover: Our first amicus brief is due today. In the first of three major lawsuits against the federal government on your behalf, we will be filing an amicus brief representing more than 20 Members of Congress defending Virginias state law which exempts its people from federal health care mandates ... and protecting the rights of individual citizens to make their own decisions about their health care.

The case in Virginia will be the first major showdown on the issue and may very well set the stage ultimately for a battle at the Supreme Court of the United States concerning the health care laws constitutionality. We need the immediate support of every member of the ACLJ.
