The decision came down in the middle of the night.  The three judge panel of the federal appeals court in Atlanta voted 2-1 to reject the appeal from Terri Schiavo's parents -- refusing to order that her feeding tube be reinserted.

The attorneys representing Terri's parents have several legal options left.  They can appeal again to the 11th circuit -- asking the full panel of the appeals court to reconsider the case.  There was an important dissent in the three judge panel that considered Terri's appeal.  In his dissent, Judge Charles R. Wilson said Schiavo's "imminent" death would end the case before it could be fully considered. "In fact, I fail to see any harm in reinserting the feeding tube," he wrote.

With the legal options dwindling, the focus is now back in Florida where efforts intensify to get the Florida legislature to act and Florida Governor Bush to act to save the life of Terri who is entering day six without nutrition or hydration.  We will keep you posted on all the developments.  Join me today on Jay Sekulow Live! for the very latest.
