Congress: Follow the Rules!

America is a dramatically different place today than yesterday. Massachusetts voters have put a Republican in the U.S. Senate seat held for decades by the late Senator Edward Kennedy. This dramatically changes the equation in Washington!

Senate Democrats no longer have 60 votes to guarantee passage of the troubling health care legislation, with its abortion funding. But now the danger is that they could skip the normal legislative process moving forward on health care legislation without the vote of the newly elected Massachusetts Senator. Yes, its devious. They would be ignoring the will of the people AND the legislative system.
