Child Custody Protection Act

This bill focuses on important parental notification rights.  The measure, introduced last session, is expected to be reintroduced in the 109th Congress by Representative Joe Pitts (R-PA).  The bill would make it a federal crime to take a minor across state lines for a secret abortion, in violation of the parents right to be notified beforehand.
