Hamas terrorists are not only launching hundreds of Rockets at Israeli civilians, they are using Palestinian children as human shields.
The Palestinian terrorists intentionally set up a launch site for their Fajr 5 rockets next to a children’s playground in Gaza.
As you can clearly see from the picture above provided by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the launch site for their terrorist rockets is half a block away from a place of worship, a playground, and numerous other civilian targets.
The IDF is telling the story of what they are facing in their effort to defend the Israeli people in real time through their blog and especially through their Twitter account. Just this morning the IDF tweeted, “Confirmed: A rocket fired from Gaza struck outside Jerusalem, Israel's capital city. #IsraelUnderFire”
In response, even though Hamas terrorists are intentionally using civilians as human shields, the IDF has said that is “has called off airstrikes when civilians were spotted near a target.”
This is the complexity and hypocrisy that Israel faces in attempting to defend its citizens. What is hard for people to imagine who live here in the U.S. is the constant barrage of rocket attacks faced by the Israeli people.
IDF is using social media to paint a poignant picture of how this same kind of terrorist attack would be tolerated around the world. Below is an image that the IDF is sharing on Facebook and Twitter.
The same terrorist group, Hamas, that has been firing rockets into Israel is leading the Palestinian Authority’s charge at the United Nations (U.N.) later this month to obtain statehood. Not only does the U.N. not have the authority to create nations, the creation of a terrorist nation on Israel’s boarder would spell certain disaster for the Israeli people. Join our efforts by signing the petition to defend Israel against this terrorist threat.
In the wake of Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas’ United Nations address in which he announced Palestine’s repudiation of the Oslo Accords , violence has broken out in the West Bank and Jerusalem. With Palestine’s abandonment of the Oslo Accords, the set of agreements between...
The recent nuclear deal with Iran could have a devastating impact on Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made this crystal clear in a mere 45 seconds in his speech before the U.N. General Assembly. In what may be the most uncomfortably long pause for effect in a speech in U.N.
Israel – our greatest ally in the Middle East – is taking fire from all sides. At the ACLJ, we’re aggressively fighting back with a multipronged legal strategy to defend Israel’s right to defend its citizens against an onslaught of terror. Through our international affiliate with consultative...
The finalized nuclear deal with Iran is a bad deal made much worse by abandoning our fellow Americans wrongfully imprisoned in Iran. And now, a senior Democrat in the Senate and major ally of President Obama has announced he will vote against the deal. We have written before about why the Iran deal...
