Radical Left Refuses To Accept Defeat On Bogus Biden Bill

The Radical Left is still pushing for the Build Back Better plan. However, it will not be the original plan without Senator Manchin’s vote. In fact, Senator Manchin is blaming the White House staff for his disapproval of the Build Back Better plan. Now, the Left will have to determine if they want to work on getting this bill back piece by piece.

Senator Joe Manchin expressed his frustration with the White House staff: 

I’m not blaming anybody. I knew where they were. And I knew what they could and could not do. They just never realized it because they figured, surely to God, we can move one person . . . we can badger and beat one person up. Surely, we can get enough protestors to make that person uncomfortable enough that they’ll just say, “Ok, I’ll vote for anything, just quit”. Well, guess what? I’m from West Virginia. I’m not from where they’re from, and they can’t just beat the living crap out of people and think they’ll be submissive. Period.

It is still not safe to completely dismiss Senator Manchin’s vote on this bill. On one hand, we have already obtained a victory in this bill. We fought very aggressively on the provisions in the bill dealing with the IRS including the 87,000 new agents and increased funding for the IRS, which was removed from the bill. However, there are still a number of big items on the Build Back Better plan that are alarming. For example, Senator Manchin still supports Universal Pre-K for ten years, expanding Obamacare, and billions of dollars for the Green New Deal.

Speaker of House Nancy Pelosi declared the Democrats will not give up when it comes to getting this bill passed:

We will not let this opportunity pass. And we will make that case and I have confidence that Senator Manchin cares about our country and that at some point, very soon, we can take up the legislation. I’m not deterred at all. . . . There are conversations that are going on and cannot give up this commitment. We will continue to fight to pass the legislation. It must happen, and we will do it as soon as we can. There are conversations that are ongoing, but we cannot walk away from this commitment.

So, we must remain vigilant in monitoring this bill. Meanwhile, since the Biden Administration can’t get their own legislation and policies passed, they are reverting back to the policies of former President Trump. After President Biden shut down all construction of the border wall when he took office - even vowing “not another foot” of the wall would be built during his Presidency – the Department of Homeland Security has announced they will restart construction of the wall to fill in gaps.

And it’s about time. This is a serious issue. It goes beyond politics. There are potential terrorists crossing our borders and an epidemic of human trafficking. It’s clear the wall is essential to our national security. We have already filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to find out why they have not been addressing these issues.
