Here’s a message we can all get behind: defund Planned Parenthood, not the police.

On today’s Jay Sekulow Live, we discussed the need to defund Planned Parenthood, not the police. While the far Left is trying to defund the police, your taxpayer dollars are still going to Planned Parenthood.

I think the message of defund Planned Parenthood, not the police is a message we can all get behind, especially those of you that support the work of the ACLJ.

Planned Parenthood is targeting minority communities. The fact that in New York City according to the city health department, between 2012 and 2016, black mothers terminated 136,426 pregnancies. They gave birth to 118,127 babies. Think about that fact that there are more black babies being aborted than are being born.

ACLJ Director of Policy Harry Hutchison made the following point:

Given this history and given current facts, as one writer has said, there has never been a more dangerous time to be a black baby in America. While overall rates of abortion have declined to their lowest levels since 1974, the Guttmacher Institute reported in 2008 that there are an alarming increase in racial disparities between the rates of abortion for black and white women.

If you analyze thirty years of data, you will find that the rate of abortions for black women are now five times greater than white women.

79 percent of Planned Parenthood facilities are placed within walking distance of minority communities.

Think about that. 79 percent of Planned Parenthood facilities are placed within walking distance of minority communities. You think that Planned Parenthood is targeting minority communities? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that non-Hispanic black women accounted for the largest percentages of all abortions at 38% while non-Hispanic white women had the lowest abortion rate of 6.6 average abortions per 1,000 women.

It is just shocking how overt Planned Parenthood is. They still gave out a Margaret Sanger award. She was a eugenicist who used to go around the country speaking at KKK events.

Professor Hutchison also made the following point:

It is impossible to fully understand Planned Parenthood without fully understanding the history, without understanding Margaret Sanger and her attempt to at least eliminate, if not exterminate, black and perhaps brown people.

The group who wants to defund the police would oppose us in defunding Planned Parenthood, even though they are responsible for hundreds of thousands of black children dying and a diminished black population. This idea goes way back to Margaret Sanger and even her involvement with the KKK.

ACLJ Senior Counsel CeCe Heil made the following point:

It’s amazing to me that Planned Parenthood still worships their founder, Margaret Sanger, because she is just as evil as evil can come. She believed in eugenics which, basically, is the thought that to improve genetic quality of the population, you must exterminate people and groups judged inferior. Of course, we know she did that judging based on people’s skin color, ethnic heritage, their financial position, or intellect. She determined who was unfit.

Planned Parenthood must be defunded, not the police.
