City of Cuyahoga Falls v. Zachary Knotts

STATUS:
In Court

The ACLJ is representing a pro-life advocate in court who was issued a criminal citation under a noise ordinance that bans “annoyance . . . to another.” Our client peacefully protested outside an abortion clinic using a small megaphone to share his beliefs. Despite remaining on public property, he was cited, while disruptive abortion escorts were not addressed. This highlights the challenges pro-life advocates face in exercising their First Amendment rights.
