Fighting To Save Young Pakistani Christian on Death Row

Our Pakistani affiliate, the Organization for Legal Aid (OLA), is representing Shahzad Masih, a young Christian who was a 16-year-old minor when he was arrested and charged under the country’s infamous blasphemy law. However, even under this broad law and the prosecution’s version of the facts, Shahzad’s actions do not constitute blasphemy. After over five years of court hearings, a Pakistani judge sentenced Shahzad to death. We’ve mobilized our legal team on the ground in Pakistan to represent him and appeal his case. We must overturn this vile miscarriage of justice.
