President Donald Trump held a massive campaign rally in New York, and Bronx residents came out in droves to support the former President. Could New York become a swing state in the 2024 presidential election?

Fox News reports on what it calls a “historic Bronx rally”:

Former President Trump has broken political norms by visiting one of the most deep-blue areas in New York City, a town not necessarily known for its kindness to Republicans.

Trump rallied a crowd of what his campaign estimated to be 25,000 supporters at Crotona Park in the Bronx on Thursday, far more than the initial 3,500 it said were expected to attend. Those numbers appeared to also include those lined up outside the event – who waited hours for a shot at getting inside even after the event began.

“I’m here tonight to declare we are going to turn New York City around, and we are going to turn it around very, very quickly,” Trump said after taking the stage, vowing to bring back safety and better schools to the city. “We are going to make New York bigger, better and greater than ever before.”

It’s official: New York has somehow become the epicenter of Trump land. His rally simply defies all logic. It’s the first time a Republican presidential candidate has campaigned in the Bronx since President Ronald Reagan.

Despite his nonstop legal woes, Trump’s popularity in New York is booming. Many might question why a Republican candidate would host a rally in a deeply blue area, but Trump did it – and it was huge.

So who turned out for the event? Much of the crowd was made up of Hispanic and other minority voters, which is usually not the case at a Trump rally. This diverse crowd shows that Trump’s message is crossing racial barriers and resonating with all Americans.

Several of the attendees reported President Biden’s policies had negatively impacted them. They also slammed New York’s far-Left policies that had also led to higher crime and homelessness in New York City. These citizens are clearly looking for a change in leadership.

At the rally, Trump sounded like he was running for Governor of New York rather than President of the United States. He spoke about “saving” the state from President Biden. You can still hear Trump’s passion for the city where he grew up and lived for so long. He hates to see how crime-ridden New York City has become.

Of course, Trump’s appearance upset many far-Left New Yorkers. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) voiced her displeasure with Trump’s presence in the Bronx and even mocked the Christians in the crowd by tweeting a prayer emoji and “God is Good” after news of bad weather before the rally. Also, New York Governor Kathy Hochul called all the New York Trump supporters “clowns.” I wonder how New Yorkers at the rally felt about their elected governor ridiculing them.

We also have some developments about Israel. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) – a top U.N. court – ordered Israel to immediately cease its military offensive in Rafah. ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon explained how Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently continued to illustrate the Biden Administration’s two-faced stance on Israel:

You know, the classic “With friends like that, who needs enemies?” That’s the truth. [Blinken] tried to turn every negative into a positive. So he said, Look at me: I’m such a friend. I’ve been to Israel five times. Let me tell you something. [Our Israeli allies] are miserable when he comes over there because, when he’s not there abusing them in person and threatening them in person, he’s there abusing and threatening them on the phone. And so these are not visits of a friend – these are visits of a tactical enemy who’s trying to pressure Israel into taking stances that are impossible for Israel. . . . And doing so purely on a political front at one level, and on another level because, in fact, the Democrats since the Obama Administration have gone down a path of preferring the Iranian regime to our allies in the region.

On the contrary, the ACLJ remains steadfast in its support of America’s greatest ally. We just sent a letter today to President Biden today demanding that the Administration place sanctions on the International Criminal Court after it outrageously issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of Trump’s huge rally in the Bronx and whether New York can become a swing state. We also discussed the Biden Administration’s disingenuous support of Israel.
