MSNBC Looks To Sell as Far Left is in Full Tailspin

The New York Times just reported the latest Nielsen data: “prime-time viewership at MSNBC has fallen 53 percent from October, and jumped 21 percent on Fox News.” While viewers signal a turning tide, the far Left is in a full tailspin following President-elect Donald Trump’s staff and Cabinet nominations, including his nomination of our Sekulow colleague, Tulsi Gabbard, for Director of National Intelligence and Matt Gaetz for Attorney General.
So many people out there are excited about nominations like Tulsi Gabbard, but you have the far Left and mainstream media labeling this a “pro-war pick” and portraying her as a warmonger. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called Tulsi Gabbard's nomination “devastating.”
The truth is, Tulsi effectively took down Kamala Harris in the Democrat primary in 2020. While serving in our military for over two decades, she rose to Lieutenant Colonel, was deployed to the Middle East and North Africa, and obtained a high security clearance. Rather than a danger to our military, Tulsi is exceptionally qualified to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
The next step for Tulsi is to get through the hearing process. As DNI, she will be able to protect your rights. Just this year, Tulsi was a victim of unconstitutional targeting, and we launched a multipronged legal effort not only to defend Tulsi Gabbard, but to defeat the weaponization of government against conservatives, our military, and the free speech of all Americans once and for all. Tulsi has experienced targeting firsthand and will help stop federal agencies from spying on Americans and violating our Constitutional rights.
You would think the far Left could get behind this as well. Instead, they pick a few people to aggressively take down, and Tulsi is now a top target. Maybe this is backlash from her leaving the Democrat Party and taking countless followers with her. In the days and weeks to come, we will keep you updated on the hearings following her nomination.
The media also missed the mark on the effectiveness of the Trump campaign. Trump and Vance traveled to towns and states where many doubted that they could impact the vote. ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell commented:
President Trump is somebody who made very clear he wanted peace, and he didn’t want to fund Iran. And those are two very important issues that I think Jews, and Arabs, and Muslims, and Christians are all in agreement on.
I think American media have really missed just how unpopular Iran is in the Middle East, in its own neighborhood. People know that this is a radical regime that has funded terrorism. . . . All over the Middle East, countries recognize that Iran is not a good player in the region and has been someone who has tried to destabilize the region.
I think one of the things that President Trump learned when speaking to Arabs and Muslims in Dearborn, and in Detroit, and the larger state of Michigan, is that Arabs and Muslims don’t like Hamas either. And Hamas has really ruined so much of the progress that they were trying to make. And they have been the victims of Hamas and bad leadership. And so, there is this very real situation where Donald Trump has been able to articulate the peace argument and the protection of peace and making sure that we’re listening to all of the various groups that want peace and then implementing peace. Peace is popular.
Even on social media, people are reacting, but they don’t understand what we are dealing with in the Middle East. But your ACLJ understands the danger Iran poses, especially to our ally Israel. We are fighting back against rampant antisemitism locally and abroad through aggressive legal action at the U.N., on Capitol Hill, and with world leaders. We will always defend Israel's legitimacy and right to defend itself in cases across the U.S. and worldwide.
