Biden Approves Use of Land Mines Against Russia
Listen tothis article
In another shocking reversal of U.S. foreign policy, the Biden-Harris Administration just authorized sending land mines to Ukraine to be used against Russia. We already saw Biden’s unhinged decision to authorize Ukraine to send U.S.-supplied missiles into a Russian region currently occupied by North Korean troops. The Ukraine-Russia war is only escalating in the days leading up to when President Trump returns to the White House.
As alluded to, before his radical shift in foreign policy this week, Biden’s approach to Ukraine was to supply it with funds and weapons with the caveat that the weapons not be used inside Russia. And though the incoming Trump Administration has promised to end the conflict quickly through diplomatic means, the Biden-Harris Administration just made that goal much harder by sending land mines.
Land mines will only result in more Russians losing feet, hands, and lives. I don’t see how this will help mitigate the conflict. Further, reports are coming out of Kyiv that a ballistic missile was just fired at Ukraine.
The ballistic missile that Russia fired is capable of containing nuclear weapons. We are inching closer to World War III. Russia could use propaganda to fire up its people to explain why it felt compelled to launch a nuclear missile against Ukraine. And then how does the rest of the world react?
Why is the Biden Administration handing the incoming Trump team a dumpster fire in Europe? Sekulow guest co-host Ben Ferguson gave his thoughts:
I don’t think [the Biden-Harris Administration] believes in [this policy reversal] because they would have done it 1,000 days or 500 days ago. This has been going on for . . . a very long time. . . . And now they say, Okay, here’s everything you want that we said would escalate the situation. This is an Administration that said they were going to de-escalate, yet they send unlimited dollars to Ukraine, and they say, Here’s more weaponry. Here are things that put you into an actual world war.
Let’s go back to 2016. As soon as President Trump took office, far-Left Members of Congress and mainstream media saddled Trump with the constant Russia collusion allegations, which ended with Trump being impeached. Trump’s political opponents will do everything they can to disrupt his time in office.
Speaking of ongoing lawfare, the International Criminal Court (ICC) just issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The ICC is absurdly accusing them of war crimes for Israel’s response to Hamas’ brutal attack on October 7.
ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon reacted to the troubling arrest warrant:
They’re treating the good guys who are trying to defend themselves as though they’re the bad guys. No country in modern recorded history has ever waged a war with fewer non-combatant casualties, and indeed, no country has ever faced this kind of a dug-in enemy that uses a population as shields. Nonetheless, the IDF takes more care to prevent civilian casualties or non-combatant casualties than any army on planet Earth, probably in recorded history. And yet the ICC is pursuing these claims against them.
The Biden-Harris Administration will likely do nothing to defend Israel against this latest lawfare attack. However, the ACLJ will defend Israel. In fact, we recently filed a vital amicus brief before the international court in defense of Israel’s interests.
This could be the most important legal action the ACLJ has ever taken to defend Israel. And in just days, we are filing another demand letter at the U.N. Security Council to protect Israel’s interests. We will do everything we can to defend America’s greatest ally.
Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of Biden’s foolish decision to send land mines to Ukraine to be used against Russia. We also discussed Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s op-ed in the Wall Street Journal about their plans for the “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) and former U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (FL-4) withdrawing his name from consideration as Trump’s U.S. Attorney General.
