President Obama has misled the American people about the terrorist attack on our Ambassador and his team in Benghazi, Libya, and now it is clear that the mainstream media has helped him hide the truth.
After weeks of claiming that an Internet video was the impetuous for the attack on our consulate in Libya that resulted in the murder of our Ambassador and three other Americans, the Obama Administration finally admitted that terrorists were responsible for the attack. Then at the second presidential debate, President Obama claimed that he had called it a terrorist attack on the day after the attack occurred.
CBS News has now released more excerpts of an interview conducted on the day after the terrorist attack where President Obama clearly refuses to call the attack a terrorist attack when asked point blank. CBS News held this information for weeks, and only now has released the complete interview.
CBS unveiled additional footage from its 60 Minutes interview with President Obama, conducted on Sep. 12 immediately after Obama had made his statement about the attacks in the Rose Garden, in which Obama quite clearly refuses to call the Benghazi an act of terror when asked a direct question by reporter Steve Kroft:
“KROFT: Mr. President, this morning you went out of your way to avoid the use of the word terrorism in connection with the Libya Attack, do you believe that this was a terrorism attack?”
“OBAMA: Well it’s too early to tell exactly how this came about, what group was involved, but obviously it was an attack on Americans. And we are going to be working with the Libyan government to make sure that we bring these folks to justice, one way or the other.”
We know that the White House was informed in real time that an Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist group was responsible for the terrorist attack on our Ambassador, and yet the Obama Administration misled the American people.
It is disappointing that President Obama has misled the American people and even more disheartening that the press has aided in the cover-up. It is time for the truth to finally come out about what happened in this terrorist attack.

It is no secret that getting into an Ivy League school can be tough. The Ivies are among the most competitive schools when it comes to not only accepting students but also hiring educators. The “ Islamic State Africa .” Not the words anyone wanted to hear, but it should come as no surprise. The most barbarically brutal jihadist army in Africa, Boko Haram, has joined with the most heinous jihadist army in the Middle East, ISIS – the Islamic State. Boko Haram, as we have long warned ,
Late last week the New York Times ran an essay by a Marine infantry officer, Timothy Kudo , based on Mr. Kudo’s experience giving orders to kill men in Afghanistan. He didn’t pull the trigger, but he gave the orders — often viewing the action on grainy screens. His essay is thoughtful, though it...
