This is the latest installment in a year-end series looking back at a few of the hundreds of victories by the ACLJ in 2011.

This year the ACLJ filed numerous amicus briefs with the Supreme Court and federal courts around the country defending life and liberty in some of the most critical litigation affecting our rights and values. We have not only represented hundreds of thousands of Americans, but we have represented approximately 150 Members of Congress to the Supreme Court and federal courts this year.

From defending Indiana’s law defunding Planned Parenthood, to supporting Arizona’s illegal immigration law, to defeating pro-abortion ObamaCare, we have represented some of the most influential Members of Congress. These include Speaker of the House John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, Representatives Michele Bachmann, Brian Bilbray, Paul Broun, Randy Forbes, Trent Franks, Jim Jordan, Steve King, James Lankford, Ron Paul, Mike Pence, Joe Pitts, Lamar Smith, Joe Walsh, Daniel Webster, and Joe Wilson, Senators Jim DeMint and James Inhofe, and over 100 other Members of Congress. These leaders have selected the ACLJ as their voice in the courts.

Next week we are preparing to file two more critical amicus briefs: one representing well over 100 Members of Congress and over 100,000 Americans at the Supreme Court to defeat pro-abortion ObamaCare and another in defense of Alabama’s illegal immigration law in a federal appeals court.

To help the ACLJ continue to have the resources we need to make these victories possible and continue these fights, please consider making a donation to the ACLJ through our year-end Matching Challenge. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar though the end of the year.
