If you have been reading the ACLJ’s 2011 Victories series, you know that this has been an incredible year for the ACLJ.

Through the unwavering support of our ACLJ members, we have protected “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance, “In God We Trust” as the National Motto, the National Day of Prayer, and other examples of our religious heritage as a nation. We have defended the right of students to wear religious clothing, read their Bible, hold Bible clubs and prayer groups, and express their faith in public schools.

Our attorneys have worked diligently to protect the rights of the unborn from those who want to promote an anti-life agenda, ensure that prolife advocates are free to communicate their life-changing message, and prevent the shutdown of the lifesaving work of prolife pregnancy centers.

Internationally, we have worked to defend Israel from legal attacks by their radical Islamic neighbors who want them annihilated, expose the threat of radical Islam and Shariah law in the U.S. and around the world, and defend persecuted Christians across the globe.

These are just a few of the many victories we have had just this year, and the list could go on and on of the lives that have been impacted through the support of our members.

Yet, we face immense challenges in the year ahead. The Supreme Court will determine the constitutionality of pro-abortion ObamaCare, and we are just days away from filing our critical amicus brief to stop this law once and for all. We are continuing to pursue Planned Parenthood in federal court in two massive fraud lawsuits. Our attorneys are preparing our latest brief in defense of prolife pregnancy centers, due in just a few weeks.

We are working literally around the clock in an effort to save Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani from execution for his faith in Iran. Our attorneys are working in numerous cases around the globe – in conjunction with our international affiliates like the European Centre for Law and Justice and the African Centre for Law and Justice – to defend religious liberty.

Today, we are facing another deadline. In order to have the resources we need to continue the battle for life, faith, and freedom, the ACLJ needs your help. Midnight tonight is your last opportunity to make a critical tax-deductible donation to the work of the ACLJ during our year-end Matching Challenge. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar though the end of the year.

Please support our work, as we continue fighting for your freedoms.
