A pro-abortion extremist minority in the U.S. Senate has filibustered a vote to defund Planned Parenthood.
A bipartisan majority of the Senate voted to close debate and vote to cut off the abortion giant’s taxpayer funding, falling short of the 60-vote threshold to avoid a filibuster.
This means that a minority of the Senate – led by Planned Parenthood’s pro-abortion political allies – have blocked a vote.
Planned Parenthood continues to rake in over $500 million of our tax dollars a year. It continues to murder nearly 330,000 babies a year. And it continues to pad its bottom line by selling these murdered babies’ body parts.
Yet 45 Members of the Senate voted to allow this barbarity to continue to be funded by you and me, the taxpayers.
You need to know their names.
The following Senators voted to continue sending half a billion of our tax dollars to Planned Parenthood as it murders babies and sells them for parts:
Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI)
Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO)
Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)
Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ)
Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA)
Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH)

Senator Mark Warner (D-VA)
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)
Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR)
While we must hold these Senators accountable for their vote for barbarity, it is equally important to thank those Senators (a bipartisan majority including Senators Manchin (D-WV) and Donnelly (D-IN)) who spoke out to stop subsidizing Planned Parenthood’s abortion business.
Our fight to defund the abortion giant will not be deterred. A majority of the Senate and a majority of Americans do not want to be forced to pay for this evil.
We continue to work with members of both houses of Congress on key committee investigations of Planned Parenthood’s potentially illegal activity.
We are also directly representing the Center for Medical Progress and some of its board members who have been targeted by big abortion with a federal lawsuit to censor and silence their pro-life investigative journalism. The abortion industry doesn’t want the truth to come out. It doesn’t want its horrific abortion tactics to be exposed to the American public. We’re defending these pro-life journalists in federal court.
Stand with us. Demand the evil sale of murdered babies end, and call on investigations into big abortion’s horrific practices. As we defend those who are exposing Planned Parenthood in court, sign our petition today.
We're aggressively battling in Congress and in federal court to defeat big abortion. Your gift today – of any amount – could save a life.
It’s the first time in nearly a decade since the Supreme Court has weighed in on the issue of abortion. In Monday’s 5-3 decision, the high court struck down a Texas law that required common-sense safety standards for abortion clinics – regulations designed to protect women. In writing for the...
It’s extremely disappointing. The U.S. Supreme Court today struck down commonsense safety standards for abortion clinics – regulations designed to protect women. The 5-3 decision in the case of Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt struck down a Texas law regulating abortion clinics. The Court missed...
Last summer, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) began to release a series of videos documenting criminal and other illegal acts of abortion providers, medical researchers, and fetal tissue procurement companies after the group spent a few years compiling an extensive collection of videos and...
The debate surrounding abortion is understandably complex and polarizing. The rights of the mother, the rights of the child, even the rights of the doctor tug the abortion debate from one side of the ideological spectrum to the other as each demands the rights of one precedes the rights of the...
