As the June 30th nuclear deadline looms large over world affairs, American Pastor Saeed Abedini remains in one of the deadliest prisons in the world, wrongfully imprisoned in Iran because of his Christian faith.

As the time ticks away, Pastor Saeed faces daily threats and increased pressure in chains for the Gospel.

He continues to recover from the most recent beating while the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passes a resolution demanding his freedom.

A member of Pastor Saeed’s family who is still in Iran was able to visit with him today, but only for a few minutes.  Pastor Saeed is encouraged about the resolution in the House, but let his family know that the pressure of being in prison increases daily.

Since the attack in the prison, he has almost completely isolated himself within his prison ward to avoid any conflict, but he does still hear threats passed on from fellow prisoners saying that they have overheard people threatening to attack him again.  In addition, some inmates are petitioning the prison Warden to have Pastor Saeed moved to another more dangerous prison ward.

Another attack could come at any moment.

A finalized nuclear deal could come at any moment.

Pastor Saeed must not be left behind.

Tuesday, June 23rd, Pastor Saeed will have been imprisoned for 1,000 days.  A week later, June 30th, is the deadline for nuclear negotiations with Iran.

It’s more important now than ever that we stand up and speak out on his behalf.

This is why we continue to advocate in Congress, at the White House, at the United Nations, and before leaders around the globe.

It’s why we’ve launched the latest Reach 3 campaign to collect 1 million unique signatures to save Pastor Saeed.  Already we’ve received over 980,000 signatures.  Add your name (below and) at BeHeardProject.com.
