Matthew Clark

Matthew Clark is Senior Counsel for Digital Advocacy at the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) in the Washington, D.C., headquarters. Through his executive leadership role at the ACLJ, he helps shape the ACLJ’s advocacy across legal, policy, and communications. He has authored numerous articles on constitutional, policy, and human rights issues for publications including the Washington Post, the Washington Times, and the Washington Examiner. He is also co-author of The Next Red Wave and a contributor to RedState.com.
Prior to rejoining the ACLJ, where he clerked while in law school, Matthew Clark served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Walter S. Felton, Jr., Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He earned a Juris Doctor and a Master’s degree in Government, with a Certificate in Public Policy, from Regent University, where he served as Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Regent Journal of Law & Public Policy. He has served as a Senior Research Associate for the M.G. Robertson Global Centre for Law & Public Policy and participated in the inaugural symposium on Persecution, Peace, and Reconciliation at Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford, in 2015.
He is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States.
