New Lawsuit Against Biden Admin on Gaza

The ACLJ is filing a massive new FOIA lawsuit to expose President Biden’s State Department for efforts to fund Israel’s enemies. We will not stand idly by while the Biden Administration sends taxpayer dollars used by terrorist groups that seek to eradicate Israel.

Last year, the State Department offered up to $987,000 for groups “to investigate alleged human rights abuses in Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.” While this money was authorized a year ago, we filed suit this morning because now even more money is being poured into that region.

We are now going to federal court to find out what’s going on with that money. Did anybody take it? Was there even an investigation? Why would the U.S. offer this money in the first place? And why did the Biden Administration lump Israel in with Gaza and the Palestinian Authority on human rights abuse?

Of course, this latest effort by Biden to undermine Israel comes as no surprise. We’ve already filed two FOIA lawsuits against the Biden Administration for betraying Israel.

The Biden Administration had offered what amounted to bounties (“pay for slay”) for the Palestinian Authority and other antisemitic organizations and governments to drum up new charges of human rights violations against Israel. We are still in federal court litigating this issue.

So why is President Biden dishing out money to fund Israel’s enemies? Apparently, to appease Iran, which is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. And, of course, Biden recently gave Iran $6 billion amid hostage negotiations.

Biden keeps kowtowing to Iran – for no discernible reason. And Iran continues to refer to America as the “great Satan” and wants to destroy us. ACLJ Senior Counsel Andy Ekonomou expounded on the importance of symbolism in the Middle East and Iran’s intense hatred of Israel:

Symbolism permeates all their actions and all their activities. All their literature is symbolic. Everything they do in terms of attacks comes on dates that are symbolic and that have symbolic situations attached to them. So when they use the word “the Great Satan,” that’s the Arabic word, “the great devil” they are not talking really about Israel – they are talking about the United States of America. We need to get that through our heads. . . . They see us as the – and I mean the United States – as the demon who is pulling the strings behind the Israelis . . . This satanic mentality permeates the Iranian minds.

Iran recently attacked our troops in the Middle East, and the terror regime continues to fund Hamas’ and Hezbollah’s efforts to destroy Israel. The Biden Administration must recognize the danger that Iran poses to the entire world.
