President Joe Biden might not be on Ohio’s 2024 presidential election ballot because his election campaign didn’t consider Ohio’s deadline for certifying presidential candidates. Remember when the far Left tried to disqualify President Donald Trump from state primary ballots? The ACLJ won at the U.S. Supreme Court to protect your right to vote for the candidate of your choice.

Fox News reports on the colossal misstep by Biden’s election campaign:

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, a Republican, notified top Democratic officials that their party’s national convention is scheduled to occur well past the deadline for certifying a presidential candidate in Ohio.

“The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to convene on August 19, 2024, which occurs more than a week after the August 7 deadline to certify a presidential candidate to the office,” LaRose wrote to Ohio Democratic Party Chairwoman Liz Walters, according to the letter first obtained by ABC News.

“I am left to conclude that the Democratic National Committee must either move up its nominating convention or the Ohio General Assembly must act by May 9, 2024 (90 days prior to a new law’s effective date) to create an exception to this statutory requirement,” LaRose legal counsel, Paul Disantis, wrote in the letter.

As a result, as of right now, President Biden will not be on the Ohio general election ballot.

Moving the Democrat convention date is way easier said than done. I’ve personally worked on a lot of election campaigns, and conventions are scheduled years in advance. I don’t see the Democrats being able to reschedule the convention at this late date.

The question is, will the Ohio state legislature correct the issue?

Imagine if this issue had come up regarding President Trump. We had to secure a 9-0 decision at the U.S. Supreme Court to keep Trump on the ballot. President Biden’s campaign should have been better prepared for this deadline. The far Left spent so much time trying to keep Trump off state ballots that they forgot to make sure their own candidate was qualified to be on every ballot.

The difference here is that with Trump the Left tried to manufacture a way to keep him off the ballot, but Biden just didn’t follow the well-established rule.

Not to mention, other state Democrat races are ongoing in Ohio. These candidates won’t want their respective races to be affected because President Biden was removed from the ballot.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell commented on the Ohio ballot fiasco:

[The Biden campaign team] concentrated on everything but their own campaign while trying to figure out the process in Ohio. Remember, they have manipulated the primary schedule. They abandoned Iowa, and they went with a whole new schedule. So this is the first time that the Democratic National Committee has been trying to figure out a new strategy. And I think that they’ve misstepped. They certainly have a problem in Ohio. I spoke to a former County Chair in Ohio, a very large county with a lot of influence. And this individual told me that it’s a real problem. The Democrats in Ohio really miscalculated, and they have a problem.

Though the Colorado Supreme Court radically removed President Trump from the state ballot – prompting the ACLJ’s U.S. Supreme Court case and 9-0 victory – I don’t want to see the country divided over this issue of removing presidential nominees from ballots. I want a free and fair election where the American people get to decide the next U.S. President. In the end, I expect Biden will end up on the Ohio ballot.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of the possibility of President Biden not being on the Ohio general election ballot after his campaign team’s mistake. Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon joined to discuss the latest in Israel’s fight to eradicate Hamas. We also discussed President Trump’s recent pro-life speech on the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
