Andy Ekonomou is a Senior Counsel at the ACLJ. Andy Ekonomou’s distinguished legal career spans over 45 years. Andy first served as Legal Counsel to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1975. Ekonomou has since held numerous respected roles, having served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, and perhaps most notably having served as Acting United States Attorney. Most recently Andy has held the position of Assistant District Attorney in Georgia.
Andy Ekonomou holds a B.A. and M.A. from Emory University, and a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law. In 2000, Andy earned his PhD from Emory, and was a Visiting Fellow at Harris Manchester College in Oxford, England.
Ekonomou regularly appears as a contributor on Jay Sekulow Live, the ACLJ’s daily radio and TV broadcast.

American Center for Law and Justice is a d/b/a for Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism, Inc., a tax-exempt, not-for-profit, religious corporation as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, specifically dedicated to the ideal that religious freedom and freedom of speech are inalienable, God-given rights. The Center's purpose is to engage legal, legislative and cultural issues by implementing an effective strategy of advocacy, education and litigation to ensure that those rights are protected under the law. The organization has participated in numerous cases before the Supreme Court, Federal Court of Appeals, Federal District Courts, and various state courts regarding freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
